アクロバティックでアグレッシブなギンザケは、岸釣り人のサーモンです。秋にはベイトフィッシュをビーチに追い込み、速く動くルアーにヒットします。
ロックフィッシュ（メバル類）

何十種類もの魚種が1つの習性を共有しています — ストラクチャーです。ロックフィッシュはBCのボトムフィッシングの頼れる柱であり、ボート初心者に最適です。
オオクチバス（ラージマウスバス）
Micropterus salmoides
暖かくウィードの多い水域の待ち伏せ型プレデターです。バスはカバーを正確に攻め、日が高いときはスローに釣る釣り人に報いてくれます。
コクチバス（スモールマウスバス）
Micropterus dolomieu
体重あたりでは北西部で最も激しくファイトする淡水魚です。スモールマウスは岩場に棲み、一年中ザリガニイミテーションを食べます。
カラフトマス
Oncorhynchus gorbuscha
太平洋サーモンの中で最小で最も数が多く、2年ごとに巨大な群れで遡上することで知られています。カラフトマスは小さなピンクのルアーによくバイトし、岸から初心者が最も釣りやすいサーモンです。
スチールヘッド
Oncorhynchus mykiss
ニジマスの降海型で、北米で最も珍重される川の魚の1つです。スチールヘッドは速く砕けた水に着き、幅広いドリフトやスイングの仕掛けに反応し、長いランとジャンプでファイトします。
カワガレイ
Platichthys stellatus
河口域や砂の湾の丈夫なカレイ類で、川下流では淡水にまで入ります。カワガレイはボトムで釣る小さな餌で、岸の釣り人が釣りやすい魚です。
