하와이의 '아히'이자 걸프와 바하의 화려한 참치예요 — 빠르게 수면에서 먹이 활동을 하는 무리 물고기로, 새와 해류, 수온 경계를 읽는 낚시꾼에게 보답해요.

최상위 새치류예요 — 하와이 코나 해안과 대서양 캐니언의 푸른 물 거인이에요. 대부분의 낚시꾼은 깊은 구조물 위에서 큰 루어나 생 가다랑어를 트롤링하며 만나요.
꼬치삼치

번개처럼 빠르고 면도날 같은 이빨을 가진 어뢰예요 — 하와이의 '오노'예요. 꼬치삼치는 암초 턱과 해류 경계에 붙어, 트롤링한 미끼를 거의 어떤 물고기도 따라올 수 없는 속도로 쳐요.
가다랑어

줄무늬 배를 가진 작은 참치예요 — 하와이의 '아쿠'예요. 가다랑어는 거대한 무리로 수면에서 보일하고, 빠르게 트롤링하는 페더를 치며, 가벼운 장비로 좋은 스포츠가 돼요.
