How to catch them

Sand-bay bait fishing Shore

Bait/lure: Shrimp, sandworm or mussel meat

Key tip: Fish slowly near the bottom; the school holds on the sandy edge of the structure.

Pier-edge fishing Shore

Rig: Light rod, split shot and single hook dropped at the end of the pier and retrieved slowly

Bait/lure: Small prawn pieces, worm bits
