By using AnglerPlan you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

What AnglerPlan is

AnglerPlan provides fishing information and planning tools: a species guide, techniques, tides and weather, and a plan for today's fishing. Everything here is information only. It is not for navigation or safety of life — never rely on it as your only source in an emergency.

Some weather, tide and water data are estimates, and they are labelled as such where they appear. Our regulations content is plain-language guidance with links to the official sources — always check the official rules for your area before you go fishing.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — the texts, the species guide and its data compilations, the images and the design — is © COMPUTIE ELECTRONICS LTD (AnglerPlan) or its licensors and is protected by copyright.

You are welcome to use AnglerPlan for your own personal, non-commercial fishing: read it, use the planning tools, and print your own plan. Anything beyond that needs our permission first — see the next section.

What you must not do

Without prior written permission from us (ask at info@anglerplan.com), you must not:

• Scrape, crawl or otherwise collect the site's content automatically or in bulk.
• Copy, republish or mirror the site's content — including its images — in whole or in substantial part.
• Use the site's content to build a competing database or service, or to train models or build datasets.

Your account and your content

Catch logs, fishing journals, stories and other content you add to AnglerPlan remain yours. Records you set to public may be shown on your public angler page. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

Acceptable use

Use the site as it is meant to be used: do not abuse it, do not try to disrupt or overload the service, and do not impersonate anyone else.

Third-party data

Some data comes from third parties — weather data by MET Norway, map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, and other sources credited in the footer. That data remains under its own licences.

No warranty

We work hard to keep the information accurate, but the site is provided 'as is', without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for anything arising from your use of the site is limited.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If anything is unclear, email us at info@anglerplan.com.
